Policy for Late Submissions
We do not accept late proposals submitted past the deadline. We do hope people will submit their late proposals the following year.
Guidelines for Proposals
As you prepare your proposal, please download and consult the following document which outlines all the required information about the presentation (e.g., title, objectives, rationale, session description, etc.) and the presenters (e.g., name, email, master’s and/or doctoral preparation, training related to the topic, etc.).
Given the focus on evidence-based school counseling practices, we are solely seeking proposals that directly relate to one or more of the following areas:
SC program components or interventions designed to support student academic success and to close opportunity gaps (description and/or evaluation of outcomes)
SC program components or interventions designed to support students’ social and emotional well-being, mental health, and coordination of related services (description and/or evaluation of outcomes)
SC program components or interventions designed to support college and career development (description and/or evaluation of outcomes)
SC program components or interventions designed to address systemic injustice and inequities (description and/or evaluation of outcomes)
Using data to make program decisions, to advocate for students, and to create school change
School Counselor Education topics related to evidence-based practices
Measurement, instruments, and methods for documenting SC impact and outcomes
Research methods, evaluation methods, and statistical analysis
Program improvement through grant-writing, developing RAMP applications, etc.
